About Me

About 9 years ago, now, I was approaching the end of my college career and may have had a small early life crisis.

I was born, raised, and schooled in Florida and all of a sudden (after 21 years)  it hit me, I need to get out of here! So I did what any normal 21 year old  would do, turned to google. I hopped online and started searching for ways to use my nursing degree OUTSIDE of the state Florida. It didn’t take long for me to stumble (trip is maybe a better word) across an Air Force recruiter and before I knew it, I was off to boot camp. Fast forward a few years, moves, marriage, some of the best friends in the world and more adventures than I can count and now I’m here, the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I am no longer in the Air Force and while it was challenging more often than not, I wouldn’t trade that time for anything else in the world.

I decided it was time to start writing down my stories so my aging mind doesn’t forget. You, lucky you, get to benefit (fill that in with a word of your choosing) from that.

Thanks for reading, Kim

and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
    and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,
then your light will rise in the darkness,
    and your night will become like the noonday.
The Lord will guide you always;
    he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
    and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
    like a spring whose waters never fail.

Isaiah 58:10-11
